Have you noticed all of the heart sculptures in San Francisco? These 200 or so heart sculptures are hefty at around 400 pounds, and 5 foot tall fiberglass forms. Each is customized by Bay Area artists that are all representative of lovely San Francisco. This installation started in 2004.
As artist and Grammy winner Tony Bennet says “I Left My Heart In San Francisco” which was also named San Francisco’s official song in 1969.
Find your favorite heart as a perfect backdrop for a smooch or a selfie! Plus you can make it a discovery date walk depending on where you plan to be in the city.
