An outstanding romantic experience in Los Angeles starts with taking a short, but scenic cruise North on the Pacific Coast Highway to Geoffrey’s Malibu. The view of the Pacific Ocean that you’ll have will only serve to whet your appetite for the outstanding vista you’ll see as you’re seated at Table 21 at the restaurant. Flower-topped Table 21 sits on a patio overlooking the ocean, in an area of the patio that the restaurant’s manager call “The Point.” On a clear day, you have a fantastic view of the LA coast and the island of Catalina, and every day you can hear the waves crashing on the beach below you. The cuisine at Geoffrey’s is impressive and satisfying. The Tahitian corn chowder really pops, with a hint of vanilla and a delicious lump of crab cake. The Grilled Pacific Swordfish with braised bacon and a fingerling potato hash is also spectacular. It Table 21 isn’t available, Table 20 is a great alternative.
