One if by Land, Two if by Sea

A romantic dinner experience at One if by Land, Two if by Sea begins on the way to the restaurant. If the weather permits, stroll the treelined, quiet streets around the restaurant’s West Village location. Then once tucked into candlelit Table 65, enjoy the bloom-laden patio garden nearby. The restaurant is a former carriage house (built in 1767) and features arched windows, brick walls and a bounty of flowers, inside and out.

New Yorkers have for decades applauded the dinner at One if by Land, Two if by Sea. The restaurant offers a prix fixe three-course meal that may feature, on a given night, Spiced Beef Tartare with Ginger, Black Plum and Bonito Aioli to start; a Maine Lobster Bake; and a Chocolate Caramel Budino to round out the romantic evening.
