Della Santina’s

Table 51B
Della Santina's

Walk through the sweet short alley leading to this old-school Italian restaurant just off Sonoma’s main square to the lovely patio in back, where Table 51B is elevated and secluded behind a fountain for maximum privacy. Vines wind over the trellis, flowers spill out of large pots crowding the fountain’s base and the water burbles, blocking noise from rowdier parties. The traditional Italian food is based on family recipes from Lucca, Italy, like Spinach Radicchio Salad with Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette, Pappardelle Al Sugo Toscana, and for a local selection, Petaluma Duck with a wild rice risotto. The restaurant inside is also quaint, but it’s the vegetation-packed patio that’s most romantic.
